Why haven’t I heard of this before?
The principle is not new but the way we control it is. We are the first to have an operational system running that can achieve this level of result.
Will my engine have to be rebuilt?
The system is non-invasive with no modifications to the engine needed.
Is it safe?
Yes it is manufactured and tested to demanding specifications and has many inbuilt safety features.
Can engines can be damaged by this “fumigation” technique?
There are other systems that do not control the delivery of LPG properly – ours has been running in Australia for many years and has never damaged a vehicle – ask us for our testimony from satisfied clients.
OK but what about my vehicle warranty?
Ecomix underwrite the manufacturers warranty such that if our system should damage the engine (it never has) then we will replace it.
What about insurance?
The system involves no changes to the engine or engine management system it merely ensures better combustion in the cylinder. As such no insurers so far have had any problems.
But I lease my vehicles.
There are no modification to the engine. All of the system can be removed and the vehicle returned in its original condition.
Where can I get LPG for a HGV?
There are more and more stations that are suitable for HGV’s and site maps are available. We also can arrange for your own bunkering just as you do for your fuel.
Do you offer a trial?
Yes we offer to fit one of your vehicles. You pay a deposit of 50% of the cost. If you keep the system you pay the balance if not we repay you less the charge of fitting the system (£750).
Ecomix applications
Ecomix can be used wherever diesel is used, including heavy goods vehicles, public service vehicles, utilities, cars and taxis, plus off-road plant and equipment.
